The limestone, polychromated relief with the coat-of arms of the Duitgenius family was installed saterday March 1 March 2014 installed. Luckily it was dry, and though a little bit more sun would have been nice, everything went smoothly during the mounting. The coat of arms is suspended from four stainless steel pins in the wall.

The coat-of-arms starts getting some contours by now.
It was already getting dark when I decided to shoot a picture of the progress made. My lamp sits on the floor behind me, to the right, so the light in this picture seems to come from the bottom right.
I have started shaping the mantling on the right-hand side (heraldically left) now.
It is now all about precarved, but it will all have finisched smoothly and carved open. I drilled a few holes where it needs to be open
Unlike the example drawing, the undulations of the mantling will touch or overlap each other in a few places; otherwise it will be too fragile in stone. The shield will be just under a centimeter deeper, so that the clover leaves and the rose are on top of it . It can already be seen a bit on the right .
