Lion's heads and ornaments for Herengracht 380
This project was another assignment from Slotboom Stonemasons. For the Nienhuys on the Herengracht 380 in Amsterdam we carved two lion's heads and two ornaments in Obernkirchen sandstone. The ornaments were worn out and the lions both missed their snout and lower jaw. Nico carved the ornaments and I did the lion's heads. The installing and photos were done by Slotboom Steenhouwers.
