A marble statue of Shirdi Sai Baba

It's been a long time since I posted a message on this blog. But that's not because I've been idle; I have carved several statues for third parties, and because it is not my own work I can not write about it.

I also started with a plaster model for a statue of Pan, about which more later. And finally, I have carved a lingam for a customer in Rotterdam.

Right now I'm working on a sculpture of Shirdi Sai Baba out of white Carrara marble, for in a temple. It is 1 meters up. It is still far from finished; the whole face, the folds, nails and various other details remain to be worked, but the main parts are there now. The next time there will be more about detailing.
